Liberation from sin

Daily writing prompt
What does freedom mean to you?

Which is synonymous with having your eyes open, to see the truth of who God is, who you are and the real reason you exist. It also means seeing evil clearly in the light of the truth, seeing the devil, the world and your own sinful impulses for what they are, and therefore working with God (or rather God working in you) so that your true self, which is in His perfect likeness, can be revealed (1 Corinthians 1:7).

The existence of God

Daily writing prompt
What’s something most people don’t understand?

A lot of things, but most prominently how the physical universe is evidence of the existence of God.

“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” (Romans 1:20).

Arrogantly refuting the existence of God without doing the diligent work is as laughable as a toddler who thinks they should be allowed to drive. God is unimaginably great and above all. If you want to know He exists and attempt to understand Him, you’re going to have to humble yourself and admit you don’t know as much as you think you do. Of course He can still reveal Himself to you even if you are haughty, but it is much more befitting to humbly seek Him.
